Not that it matters, but I found the trailer meh. It won't do any harm, but it's not a panacea either. Increased availability of IE is nice, although I think the impact has been overestimated. Don't create expectations if you don't have a decent communication following after. In the future you probably shouldn't be hyping up the anniversary of the game to your already existing playerbase when all you have is a tiny patch and a bunch of wallpapers. I don't know what you've been doing but this patch isn't 3 months of work on the game. I know the 3.0 is dropping soon but still, after 3 months of nothing I seriously expected better for this 2.4 even though I knew this wouldn't be a major update. This patch is incredibly lackluster compared to any of the previous patch we've had, just look at the patchnotes and compare it to the previous patches, it's awfully barebones. Why didn't you wait for the 3.0 ? For a patch that would actually fix stuff ? The 2.4 was basically giving IE to every WH3 owners, one of the best decision you've made for this trilogy, and fixing capes. I can't help but to wonder why the hell did you remove the beta tag in a patch that barely fixes anything ? This game still has a lot of issues, some are quite important like the line of sight issues with ranged units. Now let's talk about the removal of the beta tag. The anniversary day was such a perfect occasion to talk about the state of the game and the roadmap and I just can't believe that you somehow didn't even take the opportunity. Last State of the Game blog was interesting to read, I want to see more of that. I want to know what you are satisfied with, what you are not satisfied with, what issues are you aware of and how you are going to address them. I'm confused and I'm not the only one that's confused about it, I've seen other people asking the same question and it'd be very easy for one of your CMs to step in and clarify the situation.Īlso where is the "State of the Game" blogpost that was supposed to be coming with the said roadmap ? I'd like to know what's your thoughts on the current state of the game. Is the video from Rich what you consider to be a roadmap ? Because if that was meant to be a roadmap it was kinda underwhelming as much as I appreciated this video, last year's roadmap wasn't just about DLC, it also included patches, bugfixes and FLCs so I would expect the same for this year's roadmap. Why is there still no roadmap ? Since December CA hasn't said anything about it. No roadmap, no blog, no celebration, no insights on the development side, nothing. We got a very underwhelming 2.4 patch and. As a member of the TW:WH playerbase I got nothing out of this week. The launch trailer for IE was epic, by far one of the best trailer CA has made yet, this made me hyped to start a new campaign again.īut of course not everything is perfect and I still have my issues with this past week. I really hope lots of people will find out about this game in the future, this fanbase deserves to grow. This makes the game far more accessible to new comers and it's more consumer-friendly and I'm so grateful CA decided to make this decision. This has always been the main selling point of this trilogy and many of us would have never played this game if it wasn't a thing. Lemme start with the positives, I'm pleasantly surprised that CA has decided to give away Immortal Empires for everyone. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.847 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
